ENGAGEMENT!!!!!!!!
I have the great joy of telling each of you that God allowed Rebekah Ellison and I to be engaged on January 20th. We are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do with our lives together, and are currently planning on getting married August 21st. Our plans are to be married before the fall so that Rebekah can go on full time deputation with me. We are very excited, and would like to thank you all for your prayers both leading up to this time and as we face the future together. We plan on taking our survey trip right after we get married so that we can be better prepared to start the fall off with deputation and a renewed vision for our field. Please pray for this time as we wait on God, knowing that He will provide all of our needs.

Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your continued prayers! I was wanting to let you all know of a great opportunity that was given to me this week. I was able to go and speak at Harvest Baptist Christan School. They have around one hundred students and still growing. I went with one goal in mind and that was to share my burden for prayer! I started out by handing out prayer cards of different missionaries and after doing that, shared my heart and burden. I really was excited to see these young people as they started to look as if they could have an impact in this world through their prayers! I told them that they could impact places like China, Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, and many more places. I tried to help them develop a vision of what they could do for the cause of Christ through prayer! I thank God for this opportunity to make an impact on generations to come!

Hello Everyone,
I am currently here in NC with Pastor Blanton and staying in the Prophet Chamber. This has been a wonderful time of fellowship with this dear family. I was at West End Baptist church this past Wednesday night in SC before coming to NC to be in some different churches. I was able to be in two churches this past Sunday and one of the churches was Pastor Blanton’s with Center Pigeon Baptist church. This dear family really has gone out of their way to be a blessing. We had a great time this past Sunday night as I was able to preach and play the violin. Some would have called it the fiddle. I joke and say it depends on what church I am in at the time. I will be going to one other church this Wednesday night before returning to GA on Thursday. I have really enjoyed my time here and the Lord has allowed me to preach four times while here in NC. The burden for the lost has grown in my heart as I share my heart for Mexico and this world. Oh to hear a national say the words, thank you for coming to our people with the gospel message. Oh to see a older man bow his head to receive the Lord as his Savior and Lord. The impossible is made possible when God is part of it! Please continue to pray that God will give me what I need to get there and see God do the impossible!
God Bless,
Jonathan Anderson

Hello Everyone, I was able to attend the orientation at the Macedonia World Baptist Missions home office two week ago. Many missionary families as well as myself have really enjoyed this productive time to better prepare for the future work that God has called each of us to! We learned about many things today in areas like, Culture, missionary burn out and finishing the work that God has started in your life. This is a very challenging time and very important to my future ministry for deputation as well on the field in Mexico. We met each morning at 8:00 and we went throughout the whole day in classes. We also met each evening at 7:00 for services. This is a wonderful time for fellowship with other missionaries that are going through the same kinds of things and need encouragement from each other. I was able to visit Old Swanee Baptist Church two Sundays ago to share my work and slide presentation. I was able to talk with a Muslim this past evening... It was so sad to see how far they were from the truth of God's Word. We must be reaching out to this world that is in darkness! God Bless you all! Yours for the Lord's work, Jonathan Anderson Missionary to Mexico Website: WinMexicoForChrist.com 770-654-9589

What a blessing it has been the last few weeks! I was able to preach at my home church (Calvary Baptist Church) this past week. It was great getting to see everyone there again as I do not get to that much with deputation standing before me. the Last church I was in was Camp Creek Baptist church in Cornelia Ga, this past Sunday evening. I was able to share for about 10 minutes and play the violin with one of their many talented piano players! The Lord really has blessed this dear church and they have such a sweet spirit about them. Please pray as I continue to book meetings and visit around to the different churches during this year. There is much work to be done! I also was able to go to a Pastor’s conference this past Thursday and was able to get to know many Pastors. I hope that from that I can make some more contacts and move forward from there. Thank you all again for your faithful prayers and support! Please be praying for a dear friend of mine, Paul Fontenot who is leaving for North Africa this coming week! He will be there around two months. You can go and see his blog at http://dafroneyguy.blogspot.com/. I know this young man and look forward to seeing what God is gong to do with his life!

Update on the Family Conference!
Emmanuel Baptist Church just got done hosting their Family Conference this past Friday evening. God really blessed and there were many new families that were there for this special time. Please pray that they would come back and become dedicated members of this wonderful Spanish ministry!
I’ve been able to spend a lot of time with the Aranday family who are visiting for three weeks. Mr. Aranday preached the family Conference and God really used this man of God! I also have been able to spend time with Josue the son, and he has a heart for the Jewish people. I’m praying about going to visit this dear family down in Mexico sometime during the summer.
Many children came and were able to hear about so many great things from the Bible during this conference.

I’m getting ready to graduate from Gwinnett Hall Baptist Collage at the end of April. The Lord has shown me so much about His word in the past three years and I have so much that I must pass on just as II Timothy 2:2 says “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” One of the teachers who is the Dean at the school is Pastor Jack Lawson. This man of God has helped me in so many ways when it comes to understanding God’s Word and how to have application!
I hope to be in Mexico from the end of April and into May. this will be my survey trip to find out where I will be working the first year and as well what the best way may be to learn the Spanish language in a “correct” way! I hope to visit some ministries around Mexico City as well as Gererro. I’m still praying about where the Lord would have me to start His first church there in Mexico. Right now I am helping out at Emmanuel Baptist church (the Spanish church) that was started out of Calvary Baptist church in Smyrna, Ga.
The Pastor is Gary Ellison who was in Mexico for five years before the Lord called him and his family back here to minister to the Hispanic population that has grown so much! the Lord has really blessed and there are around fifteen people in the Bible Institute!
Four of the young men were able to preach back in December and what a blessing it was to see how far they have come! The one you see in the picture above is a guy that just has gone back to Mexico to help start a church in Gererro. My hope is to take some Institute courses on the side from there to better learn the Spanish language as I will be reading and learning about the Bible in Spanish. I have many brothers in Christ that are already doing their best to help me with the language but because of still being in school until the end of April I need to wait until that is out of the way to really pursue the language any deeper right now.
The Lord has allowed me to see a Missionary Prayer Meeting start about two years ago and we are now able to meet once a month with the young people from Calvary Baptist Church, and once a week with the Spanish young men from Emmanuel Baptist church in Smyrna! The name of this group is the “Prayer Stormers” and the main goal is to see our prayers make a difference in the lives of missionaries across the world and that they will have more boldness through the prayers that have been and will be said for them! If I can say it this way, we are holding the rope for those who have already gone down into the well! One man said “you should have marks from where you have been holding the rope! Amen! We hope to see this grow as I will be sharing this burden in churches while on deputation and maybe even some Christian schools. Thank each and everyone of you that have been praying for me as I have followed the Lord in the path that He has chosen for me. Please keep praying as the Lord continues to direct my steps. I hope to have a Website up and running here in the near future. Also, please be in prayer as I go for my interview with Macedonia world Baptist Missions on the 21st February.
God Bless!
