We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord as we press on towards the mark that God has set for our family! We have had two new supporters get behind us this month! That makes five since we got married back on August 22nd! God is so good to take care of our family and supply every need along the way.
Since getting back from NY we have been in many other churches around the United States. We started out in SC and moved on to TN, MS, NC, and now just got back from VA. We were able to attend a couples Advance and gain a lot of teaching on Marriage and the family.
We are at 25% of the needed support to arrive there in Mexico! Please continue to pray as we seek the face of God and learn more about His heartbeat.

Thank you for your prayers! We arrived safely in New York on Saturday afternoon, and were able to get settled in before Sunday services.
We are having a wonderful time here at Bayview Baptist Church! God allowed Jonathan to preach twice today, and he was able to share his heart with the people about faith and the heartbeat of God about missions.
God has used this church to encourage and challenge our hearts already, and we are looking forward to the rest of the week!
Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to serve the Lord. Jonathan will be preaching Tuesday and Wednesday night, and we will also be doing some music.
We are going to get to go into the city tomorrow with Pastor Harmon. He is going to take us to see Ground Zero and the Statue of Liberty. Please pray for safety as we travel through New York City.
We were also able to attand the Missions Revival at Pastor Danny Moore’s church this past weekend. God blessed and we were taken on for support! Praise the Lord! Thank you Zion Hill Baptist Church.

We are flying out to NY this coming Saturday morning around 6:30 a.m. Please be in prayer as we travel there, while we are serving, and when we come back on the 17th of Sept.

God is so gracious to give this time to minister to a church in NY, and we are excited about sharing our vision in a church that is a mission field itself! Some would say that we should be sending missionaries to NY and not doing deputation there. While this is true, God opened this door of opportunity up and we are excited to follow Him through it.
We will update you all on how things are going once we get there and settle in for the missions conference. We thought that we would have to change Rebekah’s I.D. before going but it looks like we are going to be able to just show our marriage license in order to get on the plane. Praise the Lord!
We love you all and will update soon!
God Bless and take care,
Jonathan and Rebekah

Ephesians 5:21″ Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.”
We are excited to say that we were married on August 22nd of this year! God blessed and we give Him the glory for all that was done!
We look forward to the coming days as we serve the Lord together while on deputation and in the future there in Mexico!
God has provided in so many ways and we are blessed beyond what words can express. God has allowed us to get 20% of the needed support in order to arrive in Mexico. Praise the Lord!
Please continue to pray for us as we seek God’s face and continue to trust Him for great things in the coming days of our lives together!
We are currently here in Greenville, SC, attending the missions revival at Zion Hill Baptist Church. We are having a great time getting to know Pastor Danny Moore and the church family more through this time that we have here!
God Bless you all,

ENGAGEMENT!!!!!!!!
I have the great joy of telling each of you that God allowed Rebekah Ellison and I to be engaged on January 20th. We are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do with our lives together, and are currently planning on getting married August 21st. Our plans are to be married before the fall so that Rebekah can go on full time deputation with me. We are very excited, and would like to thank you all for your prayers both leading up to this time and as we face the future together. We plan on taking our survey trip right after we get married so that we can be better prepared to start the fall off with deputation and a renewed vision for our field. Please pray for this time as we wait on God, knowing that He will provide all of our needs.

Hello Everyone,
Thank you for your continued prayers! I was wanting to let you all know of a great opportunity that was given to me this week. I was able to go and speak at Harvest Baptist Christan School. They have around one hundred students and still growing. I went with one goal in mind and that was to share my burden for prayer! I started out by handing out prayer cards of different missionaries and after doing that, shared my heart and burden. I really was excited to see these young people as they started to look as if they could have an impact in this world through their prayers! I told them that they could impact places like China, Africa, Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, and many more places. I tried to help them develop a vision of what they could do for the cause of Christ through prayer! I thank God for this opportunity to make an impact on generations to come!

Hello Everyone,
I am currently here in NC with Pastor Blanton and staying in the Prophet Chamber. This has been a wonderful time of fellowship with this dear family. I was at West End Baptist church this past Wednesday night in SC before coming to NC to be in some different churches. I was able to be in two churches this past Sunday and one of the churches was Pastor Blanton’s with Center Pigeon Baptist church. This dear family really has gone out of their way to be a blessing. We had a great time this past Sunday night as I was able to preach and play the violin. Some would have called it the fiddle. I joke and say it depends on what church I am in at the time. I will be going to one other church this Wednesday night before returning to GA on Thursday. I have really enjoyed my time here and the Lord has allowed me to preach four times while here in NC. The burden for the lost has grown in my heart as I share my heart for Mexico and this world. Oh to hear a national say the words, thank you for coming to our people with the gospel message. Oh to see a older man bow his head to receive the Lord as his Savior and Lord. The impossible is made possible when God is part of it! Please continue to pray that God will give me what I need to get there and see God do the impossible!
God Bless,
Jonathan Anderson

Hello Everyone,
I was able to attend the orientation at the Macedonia World Baptist
Missions home office two week ago. Many missionary families as well as
myself have really enjoyed this productive time to better prepare for the
future work that God has called each of us to! We learned about many
things today in areas like, Culture, missionary burn out and finishing
the work that God has started in your life. This is a very challenging time
and very important to my future ministry for deputation as well on the
field in Mexico. We met each morning at 8:00 and we went throughout
the whole day in classes. We also met each evening at 7:00 for
services. This is a wonderful time for fellowship with other
missionaries that are going through the same kinds of things and need
encouragement from each other. I was able to visit Old Swanee
Baptist Church two Sundays ago to share my work and slide
presentation.
I was able to talk with a Muslim this past evening...
It was so sad to see how far they were from the truth of God's Word.
We must be reaching out to this world that is in darkness!
God Bless you all!
Yours for the Lord's work,
Jonathan Anderson

What a blessing it has been the last few weeks! I was able to preach at my home church (Calvary Baptist Church) this past week. It was great getting to see everyone there again as I do not get to that much with deputation standing before me. the Last church I was in was Camp Creek Baptist church in Cornelia Ga, this past Sunday evening. I was able to share for about 10 minutes and play the violin with one of their many talented piano players! The Lord really has blessed this dear church and they have such a sweet spirit about them. Please pray as I continue to book meetings and visit around to the different churches during this year. There is much work to be done! I also was able to go to a Pastor’s conference this past Thursday and was able to get to know many Pastors. I hope that from that I can make some more contacts and move forward from there. Thank you all again for your faithful prayers and support! Please be praying for a dear friend of mine, Paul Fontenot who is leaving for North Africa this coming week! He will be there around two months. You can go and see his blog at http://dafroneyguy.blogspot.com/. I know this young man and look forward to seeing what God is gong to do with his life!
